SUNSTAR Music Series Celebrates Women in Art and Music

Pittsburgh Green House to Celebrate Grand Opening on March 3

The Pittsburgh Green House, which The Bulletin covered in its March issue, will officially open to the public this weekend. ACTION-Housing, Inc. is excited to unveil  the 308 N. Sheridan Avenue house --  its newest sustainability initiative located at 308 N. Sheridan Ave. in East Liberty. Garfield Glen Breaks Ground

After much anticipation, Garfield Glen had its official groundbreaking ceremony this morning.   Garfield Glen, an affordable rental development, is a joint initiative of the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation and S&A homes. It will consist of 45 rental units, which will be a mix of two-, three- and four-bedroom Energy Star-rated homes. The units will be located on sites throughout Garfield between N. Mathilda and N. Assemble Seeks Designs for Rising Runway Show

Garfield – The Rising Runway Show will be held on Saturday, May 19, at Assemble, a community space for arts and technology located at 5125 Penn Avenue. The theme is technology. The show is looking for submissions of two dynamic, wearable designs that work in dialogue with each other and the theme of technology. The garments must show continuity within the design, whether they are cohesive, intentionally disconnected, or playing off one another.
