EASTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD EMPLOYMENT CENTER (ENEC)

For more than 25 years, the ENEC has helped low- and moderate-income residents find new employment opportunities and deal with a range of financial challenges affecting the quality of life within their households.  The ENEC offers free assistance for anyone (age 16+) with:

  • Computer and internet applications
  • Resume writing
  • Job counseling
  • Copy and fax services
  • On-site employer interviews and job fairs
  • Workforce skills job readiness training

Mission

A project of the Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC), the Eastside Neighborhood Employment Center (ENEC) helps improve the economic and social vitality within the community through workforce development, job readiness training, career counseling, and job placement.

History

For over 25 years, the ENEC has served as a regional hub for providing individuals in Allegheny County with the tools needed to gain and retain employment in the 21st century.

Team

The ENEC works as an agent of change by bringing together residents, employers, and social support agencies to increase employment and other income-related opportunities for East End residents.

Monday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Tuesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Thursday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Friday: 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
