Tamere Lester and Wes Davis enjoy a field trip to a Pirates game as part of the Pittsburgh Summer Youth Employment Program.

The Bloomfield-Garfield Corporation (BGC) and Neighborhood Learning Alliance (NLA) will host a “Celebration of Success” event at 3 p.m. on Aug. 15 at the BGC’s youth development office, 5321 Penn Ave.

The celebration will feature refreshments and an informal meet-and-greet with youths at 3 p.m. and brief testimony from youth participants and City of Pittsburgh leadership at 4 p.m.

Speakers include:

  • Guy Costa, Chief Operations Officer, City of Pittsburgh
  • Debbie Lestitian, Chief Administration Officer, City of Pittsburgh
  • Stefani Pashman, Chief Executive Officer, Three Rivers Workforce Investment Board
  • Outstanding youth program participants and agency work site supervisors

Family, friends, work site supervisors, and governmental, community, and agency leadership are encouraged to attend.
