Lawrenceville Corporation is thrilled to present the third annual Lawrenceville Pride June 13 through 15 throughout the neighborhood.
With events taking place all weekend, we have something for everyone to get involved in this vital celebration of our diverse LGBTQIA+ community in and around Lawrenceville. With a focus on giving back to five organizations who work daily to support the community, we will be raising funds throughout June to benefit Hugh Lane Wellness, Persad Center, Proud Haven, SisTersPGH, and TransYOUniting.
We start off the weekend with a Small Business Crawl along Butler Street and Penn Avenue featuring an amazing array of local businesses, some paired with vendor or social group popups, to engage the community in supporting our shopping district.

Then, join us at New Amsterdam for our LV Pride Kickoff Party from 8 to 10 p.m. Specialty cocktails and mocktails will be on the menu, with $1 from each drink going towards our fundraising efforts! The party has a $10 suggested donation cover fee at the door, but if you show a receipt from a business participating in the business crawl from that day, you can get in for free!
Saturday, June 14 will be our Lawrenceville Pride Festival at the Goodwill parking lot located at 118 52nd St. Join us from noon to 8 p.m. for a day full of handmade art and craft vendors, food trucks, and drinks by some of Pittsburgh’s best! Stop by Resource Row to meet with a collection of local organizations and groups offering social connection, vital resources for the community, and mental and physical support for all.
You won’t want to miss the action taking place on the Pittsburgh Fitness Project Stage as we welcome tunes by DJ Rojo, local drag performers, a dedicated Kids Hour of entertainment for the little ones, demonstrations by Pittsburgh Fitness Project, and more. We’ll be holding a competition called “Project Goodwill,” where 10 local fashionistas will have 30 minutes and a personal budget of $30 to put together a fabulous Pride outfit from the store and model them for our celebrity judge: Rachel Ann Bouvier!
The winner struts away with a $150 Goodwill gift certificate and sash! Closing out the performances we welcome our headlining act, from RuPaul’s Drag Race and “DRAG: The Musical,” Alaska Thunderf***!
We close out the weekend on Sunday, June 15 with the Mx. Lawrenceville Drag Pageant & Brunch at Attack Theatre. From noon to 2 p.m., enjoy brunch and drinks as you watch 9 contestants compete for the title and a $200 prize! Tickets are on sale now via our website.
