BOOM Concepts is thrilled to announce that it has secured a permanent location at 327 N. Negley Ave., now reimagined as The Rotunda.
This new space will serve as a cultural center and headquarters, enhancing BOOM’s support for Black artists and creative entrepreneurs. This allows BOOM to continue its committed work in field building, knowledge sharing, mentorship and storytelling rooted in the Penn Avenue Arts & Commercial District.
DS Kinsel, BOOM Concepts Co-Founder, emphasized the importance of this move for the community: “It’s time for permanence. Our community deserves a lasting investment.”
The Rotunda will host exhibitions, concerts, cultural celebrations, and more, acting as a vital hub for artists and residents. The project aims to promote equity and access while amplifying local voices in the Garfield neighborhood. “The preservation and opening of this building will be a vital resource for local residents. The addition of the rotunda will effectively address capacity, pricing, and scheduling challenges.” – Thomas Agnew
The project is in the beginning stages of a multi-year development timeline. BOOM is confident and ready to build excitement about the redevelopment and opening of the Rotunda.
Join us at the “Raising the Roof on the Rotunda” event, celebrating BOOM Concepts’ new home, the revitalization of an historic East End building, and honoring two community leaders: Robert M. Jones Jr., President & CEO of Brothers and Sisters Emerging and longtime coach of the Garfield Gators, whose dedication to youth and community has shaped generations and state Sen. Jay Costa, whose advocacy and leadership continue to support inclusive growth and opportunity across our region.
