PENN AVE RECONSTRUCTION
Phase 2 of an infrastructure reinvestment project, from N Evaline Street to N Graham Street along Penn Avenue, is being undertaken with the City of Pittsburgh Dept. of Mobility & Infrastructure (DOMI), PennDOT, and TransAssociates. It will reconstruct the street and sidewalks from building face to building face (with some exceptions for properties that are considered large commercial development).
- New street surfacing
- New sidewalks and landscape treatments
- New traffic control equipment
- Improved lighting
- New streetscaping, such as benches and artistic tree grates
