From June 11 through August 17, 2012, the Allegheny County Department of Human Services will operate the SummerFood program, a free breakfast, lunch and recreation program for children up to 18 years old, as well as eligible individuals with intellectual or physical disabilities 19 years of age and  older.

Nutritious meals will be available on weekdays at more than 100 sites throughout Allegheny County. A site supervisor and accompanying staff will be present to ensure the well-being of the children.
